Getting to Year 2 @ CSU (GTY2) is a semester-long program with events designed for first-year students in their second semester. Get the information you need to successfully transition into your second year at CSU! Learn about resources for housing, academic success, involvement, career readiness, and more.

Spring Involvement Expo!

Wednesday, January 25 | 10 AM – 4 PM 
LSC Ballrooms
Hosted by the Student Leadership, Involvement, Community Engagement (SLiCE) Office, the Involvement Expo is one of the best opportunities to get involved in campus life at Colorado State University and the surrounding Fort Collins community. This event connects Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), University departments, and community agencies/non-profit organizations that offer volunteer opportunities, with students through various involvement and community engagement opportunities while discovering resources and services.

Off Campus Life Beanie Giveaway!

Monday, January 30 – Friday, February 3 | 10 AM – 3 PM (each day)
Off-Campus Life (middle floor of LSC next to bookstore entrance)
Visit Off-Campus Life to get a free CSU beanie (while supplies last)! You’ll also get to learn about the many services that Off-Campus life has to support you in finding off-campus housing, finding roommates, party registration, tips on commuting to campus, RamRide, local laws and ordinances that you should know about, and so much more! 

On Campus Employment Job Fair

Wednesday, February 1 | 2 PM – 4 PM

Check out the Student Employee Job Fair! Join us on Wednesday, February 1, from 2 – 4 p.m. in the LSC Ballrooms C and D. Campus employers will be on hand to share information about their opportunities for the current semester and next year, answer your questions, and collect resumes. Housing Options in Year 2

Start thinking about where you are going to live next year. Join Off-Campus Life to learn more about what options are available to you and learn tips to help you make the best decision for your housing next year! Free Chipotle catering will be served during the event. Registration is strongly encouraged, but not required

Off Campus Housing Fair

Wednesday, February 8 | 9 AM – 4 PM
LSC Grand Ballroom
The Housing Fair is an annual event where different housing entities come to Colorado State University to help students find options for off-campus living. Different groups such as apartment complexes, property managers, television companies, etc. have positions in the ballroom where students are able to speak to a representative to learn about or sign up for their services, and in some cases sign a lease for a place to live the following year. Signing an Off-Campus Lease

Tuesday, February 14 | 12 PM – 1 PM

Signing a lease doesn’t have to be daunting if you know what to look for! Join Student Legal Services and Off Campus Life to learn about the process of signing a lease, how to work with landlords/ leasing offices, how to get your deposit back, and more helpful tips! Registration is strongly encouraged but not required. 

Build a Budget Workshop

Tuesday, February 21 | 6 PM – 7 PM
Canvas Stadium Classroom 0202 (enter on the east side of the stadium along Meridian Ave.) 
Join Canvas Credit union in an interactive workshop to learn how to build a budget to fit your needs! The workshop will feature free Krazy Karl’s, raffle prizes, and expert financial advice to set you up for financial success as you prepare to move off campus. Registration is strongly encouraged but not required. 

Creative Chill Out

Wednesday, March 1 | 6 PM – 7 PM

Being creative can help us reduce stress by giving our thinking mind a break. Creating something can be restorative, boosts our mood, and takes very little time.  In this session, you will experience various ways to bring creative breaks in small moments of everyday life.  No prior skills are required.  Free chipotle will be provided for participants. Registration is strongly encouraged, but not required. 

Credit 101

Monday, April 3 | 6 PM – 7 PM
Canvas Stadium Classroom 0202 (enter on the east side of the stadium along Meridian Ave.)
In this workshop, Canvas Credit Union staff will teach you the basics. Learn what credit is, how to build it, and tips for maintaining a healthy credit history. The workshop will feature free Chipotle, raffle prizes, and expert financial advice to set you up for financial success. Registration is strongly encouraged, but not required.
