Ram Orientation is not just an experience for students– we know how important it is for you to know what to expect as your student starts their time at Colorado State University. We invite you to attend one of our options for Parents, Family, and Guest Ram Orientation sessions.
There are 2 options that you, as the support system of a first-year student, can choose from for your Orientation Session. Explore the options below to decide which session is best for you. No matter which session you select, you will receive information critical in supporting your student in their transition. On-Campus Parent, Family, and Guest First-Year Ram Orientation
Join us for an in-person Orientation session that will be on the same day as your students on campus session. While your student is
participating in their orientation program At this session, you can expect to learn information about campus resources available to both you and your
student, hear from current CSU students, learn important requirements that your student needs to complete, ways to support your student, and more!

Virtual Parent, Family, and Guest Ram Orientation
We know that it may not be possible for you to travel to Fort Collins with your student, but we still want you to have information that can help you support them. Throughout the summer, we will be hosting various sessions of Virtual Parent, Family, and Guest Ram Orientation. These programs will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on each date. During these sessions, you can expect to hear from different campus resources, current students, and staff who are here to support both you and your student.
Participating in Virtual Parent, Family, and Guest Ram Orientation also gives you access to online orientation modules. These modules can be completed at your own pace and will be available to you throughout the summer.
