This Colorado State University tradition celebrates our newest class of Rams, marking the beginning of a new academic year and our collective commitment to excellence in education. Alongside the Class of 2030, you will hear from student and faculty leaders about how to join and thrive in our community.

Students
Convocation is required for first-year students. Students are encouraged to attend in person at Moby Arena following the morning Ram Welcome activities. For those seeking a more sensory-friendly experience, the program will also be available via livestream in both English and Spanish.
Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff are invited to attend the 2026 Convocation Ceremony in person at Moby Arena. Seating will be open throughout the arena, with a limited number of reserved seats held in Section C.

This event will include music, chants, and cheers. Orientation Leaders and Ram Welcome Leaders will have ear plugs available at Moby Arena.
