Ram Orientation for International Students
The following International Undergraduate Student orientation information is designed for directly admitted, undergraduate international students.
Congratulations on your admission to Colorado State University! We are anxiously awaiting your arrival to campus to introduce you to CSU and are excited you have chosen to join us. Below are the steps you should complete to support a smooth transition to CSU and Fort Collins. All new students are required to participate in orientation.
Orientation Steps for Fall 2017 Students
Before you begin these orientation steps, you will need to confirm your intent to enroll and pay the enrollment deposit.
1. Create an eID (electronic identification) username and password by visiting www.eid.colostate.edu if you have not done so already.
2. Register for the on-campus Ram Orientation program. You are required to register for and attend this on-campus session August 15-16, 2017. Sign up by clicking on the "Reservations" link on the left-hand side and log in with your eName and password.
3. Complete the International Student Online Pre-Orientation program to register for your fall courses. You will receive an email with a link to complete this on May 1, 2017.
Upon successful completion of the Online Pre-Orientation, you will receive information about how to contact your advisor to set-up a time to register for your courses. Note: Your advisor can only give you an advising code after you have completed the International Student Pre-Orientation program and have contacted your advisor.
