Overnight Accommodations

Overnight Accommodations for Students

Overnight on-campus accommodations for all first-year students are provided in Braiden Hall. Overnight lodging includes sheets, pillows, blankets, washcloths, and towels. Even if your family members or guests plan on staying elsewhere, your stay overnight will allow you to experience life in the residence halls. We believe that doing so enables you to better participate in all scheduled sessions and provides you with the opportunity to meet other students. For more information about Housing and Dining Services, visit their web site at www.housing.colostate.edu.

Due to the daily number of participants, you will be housed in a double room with another new student of the same gender. Students are housed on separate floors from their family members and guests during Ram Orientation; therefore, students, family members, and guests should pack separately. Rooms are not air conditioned, but the 5,000 foot elevation makes the temperature comfortable in the evenings. Guests are welcome to bring a fan.

On-Campus Accommodations for Family Members & Guests

Overnight on-campus accommodations for family members and guests are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited. Family members and guests are housed in Braiden Hall, a CSU residence hall, on separate floors from their students. These arrangements are made so family members and guests might sample residence hall living similar to that of their student.

Overnight lodging (including sheets, pillows, blankets, washcloths, and towels) is $48 per person. This charge is in addition to the $95 guest fee.
