Faculty-Student Lunches

Second-year students can take a faculty member out to lunch in one of the CSU Dining Halls for free! Get to know your world-class faculty that make Colorado State University so great. Through the Faculty-Student Lunches program you can establish relationships with faculty members outside of the classroom and form a dialogue about academic interests, future goals and broader life experiences.

How it Works:

Students must be in their second-year at CSU in order to engage in this program. Please discuss this lunch with your faculty member and determine and date and time BEFORE registering for this program. Once you have identified a faculty member you would like to take to lunch, you must submit a request form on our website. The date of the lunch must be finalized before completing the request form. The Coordinator for Transition Programs will review all requests (please allow up to 3 business days for requests to be approved). Once the request has been approved an email will be sent to the student and faculty member participating in the lunch. The student may then come by the OTP office at a designated time to pick up a meal card which will grant access to the two meals in the dining halls. Once the lunch has been completed a brief survey will be sent out to both parties to help assess the program.
