Due to public health concerns, CSU is currently operating remotely.
We will provide a Virtual Ram Orientation experience during summer 2020.

Thank you for visiting Orientation and Transition Programs at Colorado State University.

In support of social distancing guidance and to ensure the health and well being of our community members during the COVID-19 public health crisis, we have shifted our staff members to operate remotely. In order to adapt, we have modified our modes of communication while still supporting any assistance needed.

We recognize that the current spread of the COVID-19 virus is bringing up a lot of questions and concerns about summer orientation. We want to share that, due to necessary COVID-19 health precautions, Colorado State University has made the difficult decision to move to an online virtual orientation program this summer.  We will communicate any updates and next steps to your CSU email account.

Orientation and Transition Programs and CSU are committed to creating a virtual orientation experience that will meet your needs and support a successful start at CSU.  We want to let you know what this change to virtual orientation means for you.

First, sign up for one of our existing orientation session dates.  We will use these session dates  in order to create opportunities for you and a small group of your peers to log in to sessions at the same time to connect, engage with advising and course registration, and get your questions answered.  Please plan to be available on the dates of your orientation reservation to participate in these required components of virtual orientation in order to have your orientation hold removed.

Second, we are developing a virtual orientation experience for parents, family members, and guests.  This virtual experience will allow them to learn about CSU, get questions answered, and learn about ways to support you in your transition to CSU.

As we do our part to work remotely in the interest of public health, staff members are available to answer your inquiries. Email is the preferred method of communication for our office. Please email us with any questions at orientation@colostate.edu, and include:

  1. your contact information,
  2. best time to reach you between 8am and 5pm,
  3. and a description of your question if you prefer phone communication.

Additionally, you can call us at (970) 491-6011 and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number, and question. A team member will give you a call back as soon as possible. Please note that this call will be coming in from an unknown number.
