National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) was started by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS) as a celebration of transfer students and the professionals who support them. Transfer students here at Colorado State University (CSU) make up 30% of our total student population. That is why this fall, we are celebrating our first NTSW. Excelling at CSU: Ensuring Your Academic Success
Monday, October 15, 2018 from 12 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

How are you doing academically?...Great? Okay? Could be better?...No matter your situation, this event is designed to boost your academic success here at CSU. Join TILT staff members as they provide transfer students a short presentation on academic skill building, information about different academic support resources on campus, and mini academic coaching sessions. Do not miss this opportunity to learn more from the academic success experts here at CSU. Refreshments will be provided at this event.
Tau Sigma National Honor Society Plaza Social

Tau Sigma National Honor Society recognizes and promotes the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students nationwide. Here at CSU, the Gamma Epsilon chapter has existed since 2010 and continues to recognize the excellence transfer students bring to the CSU community. Interested in learning more? Then stop by the Tau Sigma table on the Lory Student Center Plaza, where chapter officers will be present to answer your questions.

Boosting Your Career Readiness

What does it mean to be career ready? Well, the answer can be found at this event. Join the Career Center staff to learn more about career services here at CSU and to engage in career readiness activities. They will be offering a presentation about career services on campus, followed by small breakout sessions focused on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and internship searches.
