Transfer Student Week 2019

National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) was started by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS) as a celebration of transfer students and the professionals who support them. Transfer students here at Colorado State University (CSU) make up 30% of our total student population. That is why this fall, we are celebrating our first NTSW. This celebration of transfer students is meant for the entire campus community. Check out our schedule of events below:

Constructing Your Career Readiness

Monday, October 21, 2019 drop-in from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Lory Student Center Plaza

What does it mean to be career ready? Well, the answer can be found at this drop-in event. Join the Career Center staff to learn more about career services here at CSU and to ask questions about your career goals. They will be joining Transfer Programs @ CSU at a table in the Lory Student Center Plaza to serve as a resource to our transfer students. Do not miss out on this opportunity to further develop your professional skills and application materials. Transfer Programs @ CSU will also be giving out some sweet swag to those who visit our table.


Transfer Student Study Night

Tuesday, October 22, 2019 drop-in from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

TILT Building Room 104

How are you doing academically...? Great? Okay? Could be better...? No matter your situation, this event is designed to boost your academic success here at CSU by providing you with a space to study on campus. Join TILT staff members and TTLs as they provide transfer students a short presentation on how TILT and Transfer Programs @ CSU can benefit you, and create a place to study specifically for transfer students. Do not miss this opportunity to learn more from the academic success experts here at CSU and find a space outside of the crowded areas to study and work on assignments. Refreshments will be provided at this event.


Transfer Student Meet-Up @ Ramskeller

Lory Student Center – Ramskeller

Looking for a place to hang out with friends on campus? Wondering where you can grab food between your classes other than Panda Express or Subway? Then come join our TTLs at the Ramskeller located on the first floor of the LSC. The Ramskeller is CSU’s on-campus pub where you can find some great food and great entertainment either after class or between classes. Transfer Programs @ CSU will have a couple of tables down in Ramskeller and will be having a space for you all to meet transfer students at CSU.

A National Transfer Student Week tradition here at CSU. Help us celebrate all transfer students here at CSU.
